Job Mission

We’re looking for a self-motivated Marketing Manager who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is ready to help build out a solid foundation in our Marketing Team.  We want to tell the world about our incredible products and we want you to lead the charge!

 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for completing the following tasks:

  • Campaign Management
    • Develop, implement, and execute marketing campaigns for products, platforms, and services offered by AMS
    • Manage all aspects of campaigns (social media, events, email campaigns, etc.)
    • Work with our internal team to develop media to support our campaigns (photo & video)
    • Constantly refine campaigns to achieve the best results possible
  • Marketing Strategies
    • Develop and execute marketing strategies for each of our platforms – we work with F-150’s and Lamborghini’s so our approach has to be tailored to each type of customer we work with
    • Research and analyze market trends, demographics, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
    • Determine best marketing channels for each platform/product
  • Paid Advertising
    • Develop and Implement Paid Advertising Strategy and Campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Event Planning & Marketing
    • Trade show planning – lead the charge in planning out our booth at the biggest trade show of the year
    • Race Event Coverage – we attend 3-5 races per year to show off our capabilities.  Much of our media coverage for the year is generated at these events.  You will be in charge of what we cover and how we show it off
  • Social Media
    • Manage our social media presence on all social channels (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
    • Address any Public Relations topics that may come up from time to time
    • Actively track customer engagement on social media and in Facebook Groups
  • Team Management
    • Lead and develop our internal marketing team (currently 3 people) – we have a strong focus on career development so we want you to help our team get to the next level
    • Set and hit deadlines for marketing initiatives
    • Delegate projects and ensure completion
  • Inter-department Collaboration
    • Help provide Engineering team direction on new products with market research
    • Collaborate with engineering and sales to launch new products, services, platforms, etc.
    • Collaborate with Sales team to determine strategy and approach for any Sales & Marketing Initiatives
    • Develop performance metrics to track marketing effectiveness and present to COO and other team leaders
    • Work with Sales team to determine best sponsorship opportunities
  • Other
    • Website Management: Manage our web pages, launch new products, improve customer experience, and optimize conversion rates
    • Vendor and Customer Relationships: Occasionally collaborate with our customers and vendors to promote our brands together
    • Manage sponsorships and work with Sales Manager to determine sponsorship opportunities

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a Related Field
  • The perfect candidate has 5+ years’ experience in marketing and has managed a team
  • Ideally, you either have worked in the Automotive Aftermarket / Performance industry, or you have a passion for modifying vehicles or racing
  • Experience in managing campaigns, developing marketing strategies, managing media channels, implementing and managing paid search
  • Experience with or ability to operate in a high-growth environment
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands on, not just manage
  • Ability to lead and grow a team
