AMS Performance is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and personable Social Media Manager to join our team.

This is a crucial role in our marketing department focusing on social media and digital marketing to present our brand in a professional and strategic manner. Your goal should be to not only entertain and inform our existing fanbase, but to acquire new customers and access untapped online markets through paid search ads, SEO optimized blog posts, and a combination of direct email and social marketing campaign management across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You will be tasked with helping to create content highlighting new product releases, racecar builds, service offerings, exemplary dealers/distributors of our parts, and everything in between that happens at AMS to be shared through email and social marketing campaigns across all platforms.
At AMS we specialize in automotive aftermarket performance parts and packages for turbocharged vehicles. Our goal is to provide the highest quality, best performing products available by utilizing extensive research and development paired with rigorous testing programs. The perfect candidate for this position has a passion for using their wordsmithing, photography and/or videography skills to effectively deliver a digital message, and will be enthusiastic, flexible, and inventive. While you will have the opportunity to continue to develop and refine your craft in an environment that encourages creativity and experimentation, you should bring an established aesthetic that fits our brand identity. During your day, you will be working in a collaborative environment identifying, creating, and delivering relevant content to our current and future customers to a diverse range of social media platforms, assisting with development and execution of marketing strategies specifically tailored to each platform and product we launch, aiding in the creation and coordination of campaigns [social, email, etc.] that align with our sales team’s efforts to ensure success, crafting press releases and other blog content, and much more. We are looking for a candidate who is well-spoken, creative, and has experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns that accompany sales efforts. Our goal is to make sure that our marketing efforts add the maximum value to our company and are central to the success of our business.
Social Media Manager Qualifications & Skills
- 2-5 Years Experience
- Excellent Communication Skills and Engaging, Creative, High-Level Copywriting
- Personable and Friendly Demeaner to Interact with Fans via Social Media in a Genuine and Authentic Manner
- Ability to Create Social Media Content (Photography / Videography)
- Ability to Create Social Media Campaigns from Concept to Publication
- Experience creating Effective Paid Social Media Ads and Analyzing ROI (Google Ad Experience a Plus)
- Adobe Creative Cloud Software [Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.] Experience Preferred
- WordPress/Woocommerce Experience Preferred
- Mailchimp Email Marketing Experience Preferred
- Automotive Aftermarket Experience Preferred
