Each one is hand-fabricated from a heady combination of CDS & T45 steel with laser cut panels. Each one is completely TIG welded by hand to ensure absolute quality control. Again, like the upper arms, this component benefits from our ultra-high performance kevlar-teflon lined self-lubricating rose joints combined with 7075 CNC machined top hat bushes to further enhance high articulation.
The hub pin is engineered from EN24T High Tensile Alloy Steel and has been conditioned to withstand loads up to 850/1000 N/mm2. This is seriously over-engineered! The precision is augmented further by the CNC-machined T6 rear mounting block and spherical joint, which replace the flexible OEM bush mounting and allow for extensive caster adjustment.
