Luke’s ALPHA 28 R8 is finished and headed back to him. 🔧
Luke’s ALPHA 28 R8 has become one of the cars we’re proudest to have our name on. This is a full ALPHA 28 build from the ground up: a fully built engine on a billet block, backed by our G45-1600 turbo kit and a Stage 6+ transmission build with @dodsonmotorsport components, built to handle everything that turbo can throw at it. Full AMS suspension setup keeps it planted, and a wheel/tire drag pack puts the power down. There’s a lot more to it than fits in one post, but that’s the foundation this car is built on. 📦
This round wasn’t about chasing a bigger number. 📈 It was about keeping everything as sharp as the results it’s already put up. New fuel lines went in for better flow, and the car got a full round of tuning along with a complete inspection to make sure everything’s still exactly where it needs to be. 🔍
Up front is where you’ll notice it most. 👀 The Matts Performance carbon hood got a custom paint job, vents left exposed so the carbon does the talking. Out back, we moved to a fixed rear wing panel, ditching the active aero setup for something simpler and more consistent. 🏎️
At TX2K26, Luke and his ALPHA 28 R8 brought home two trophies: 1st place in Roll Racing Unlimited Class and 2nd place in DCT/GTR Class 1 – Elite drag racing. 🏆
