AMS Archives: Old Racing Footage vs Present Day

Everything AMS is today started with cars like the one on top of your screen 🏁

2003 AMS Galant up top. Wally down below. Same starting line, 25 years apart.

AMS opened its doors in 2001, and the first parts we ever built were for the 4G63 crowd. Intercooler kits for the GVR4. T3/T4 setups nobody else was making yet. We bolted them to our own cars and took them straight to the track to find out if they actually worked 🔧

They worked.

10.53. Then a 9.41 at 150. Then an 8.56. Then the first 7 second R35 GT-R on the planet 📈 Every one of those numbers came off a car this shop built, tuned, and staged itself.

Which brings you to the bottom of your screen. Dave Rohrschneider’s GT-R “Wally.” 2,500 WHP, GTR68 class winner at TX2K, and a 6.96 under the lights ⏱️💨

Twenty five years ago we were chasing 10 second passes. Now we are running 6s and still finding time 🔥

New platforms. New tech. New faces in the shop. Same routine the whole time: build it, race it, prove it, then offer it to you.
