AMS Performance and Bobby’s ALPHA 10 Q60 reclaim the VR30 crown! 👑 With a best run of 8.48 at 162mph over the weekend, Bobby’s ALPHA 10 Q60 is now the quickest and fastest VR30 overall 🥇 Running the first 3 second 60-130 on the platform to boot. Rain brought an early end to the event, otherwise Bobby was looking to go even quicker! 8.48 at 162 and it’s still got more in it 👀
Entering the weekend, the target time to beat was 8.89 ⏱️ On the first day of the three day event, Bobby went 8.82 at 158mph on the third pass off the trailer with a new setup, reclaiming the record! Bobby backed that up with another 8.82, this time at 160mph. No one hit wonder, a testament to the hard work of the entire AMS Performance team.
Later on Saturday, Bobby ran 8.76 at 160mph 🏎️💨 Breaking the platform record three times in less than two days. With the first two days in the books, Miles combed through the logs to find where we were leaving time on the table. A few adjustments, a higher rev limit, and Bobby was ready for Sunday 🏁
The first round of eliminations brought one more record-breaking pass! The stars aligned and Bobby ran a stunning 8.48 at 162mph 🤯 Obliterating the previous record by more than 4 tenths and 14mph, reclaiming the throne atop the VR30 platform 🤴
