Not just the first VR30 in the 8s, but the second one too! ✌️ Moments after Bobby’s milestone first 8 second pass, Anthony got one of his own with an 8.97 at 152mph ⏱️ Bobby may have done it first, but Anthony did it quicker! With Anthony running an 8.97 to Bobby’s 8.98, just one hundredth of a second between the two 🤏
The two fresh ALPHA 10 builds were neck and neck all weekend, the first time out for both cars after undergoing extensive builds 👨🔧 In the first passes off the trailer, the two cars went 9.39 and 9.35, already breaking the Q50 and Q60 quarter mile records 😳 The next set of passes, 9.16 and 9.15, not only the Q record, but the record for the VR30 platform overall 🫨 And then, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The first 8 second VR30 quarter mile pass 🥇 Immediately followed up by the second 8 second VR30 pass 🥈 And for good measure, Bobby went back out and made the third 8 second VR30 pass! 🥉
