The COBB CAN Flex Fuel Upgrade for the 2022-2025 Subaru WRX measures the ethanol content of the fuel you’re running and sends it straight to the ECU, so your Accessport flex fuel calibration adapts to any blend of pump gas and E85. It’s plug-and-play, with a billet aluminum CAN Gateway, a vehicle-specific harness and an ethanol sensor kit with quick-connect fuel lines. Fitment and Emissions
Fits 2022-2025 Subaru WRX sedans, including the 2024 WRX TR, with the 6-speed manual or CVT (USDM). Requires a COBB Accessport with a flex fuel calibration, and installation requires removing the radio/cockpit control unit. Not yet available for 2026 models.
This part is legal under the provisions of the EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. COBB has established a reasonable basis, through testing results and emissions certification, that it allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards, so it is legal for on-street use in all states that accept the Clean Air Act and EPA Anti-Tampering Policy provisions. It is not legal for sale or use in California on any emissions-controlled motor vehicle. COBB’s CARB testing for 50-state compliance is pending, and this product will be updated once an EO number is issued.
