With us diving head first into parts development for the new BMW M lineup, we knew we had to pay homage to the long and iconic design history of the BMW M logo.
The blue, violet and red BMW M colors go back to former race director Neerpasch and BMW designers Seehaus and Rennen. Over the years, the design of the M logo and the M stripes has been carefully refined, with the color purple changed to a dark blue, for example. The most recent update to the corporate design was made in March 2020 and since then the BMW M communication logo has been sporting its new look solely for brand communication. It is now two-dimensional as opposed to three, and features four colors – light blue, dark blue, red and a white “M”.
The front chest graphic features the AMS Mark done in BMW M tricolor, and the rear graphic shows an F80 M3 and three M tricolor stripes. Printed on charcoal grey shirt base.
