Alternatively if you would prefer to have our technicians handle the complete process, we can even arrange to transport your entire vehicle for a total door-to-door solution.
The Alpha Stage 1 upgrade for the DL800 is the starting point of transmission performance for the R8 & Huracan. Designed for naturally aspirated, supercharged, or basic bolt-on twin turbo applications, the Alpha Stage 1 allows for piece of mind when pushing your supercar to the limit. Our AMS Gearworks technicians utilize the Dodson Billet A & B Clutch Baskets installed with the factory clutch frictions and steels. This allows for substantially increased torque holding capability while still keeping the car driving and sounding like stock. It really is the best of both worlds!

The Dodson A & B Clutch Baskets
The ALPHA Stage 1 transmission utilizes upgraded billet baskets from Dodson for additional strength and reliability. The OEM baskets are notorious for breaking at the spline section and coming apart at higher power levels. The Dodson billet A & B baskets replace both factory baskets with extra strong billet aluminum pieces, resulting in exceptional strength and removing a common failure point on the DL800.
