Over 600 wheel horsepower and 525 lb-ft on e85. The ALPHA 6 sits at the top of the VR30 ladder, built around upgraded turbochargers, the fuel system to feed them and an exhaust path with nothing left restricting it.
The turbochargers set the ceiling and the rest of the package exists to let them reach it. Pure Turbos Stage 2 units are reworked center sections carrying custom billet compressor and turbine wheels, CNC machined and high speed VSR balanced, running inside the factory compressor covers and turbine housings. Full down pipes clear the exhaust path from the turbos back. A Stage 3 high pressure fuel pump and Stage 1 direct injectors keep fuel ahead of the turbos on e85, and a race heat exchanger handles the heat the extra boost creates.
Installing the turbochargers is engine out work, so this is a build rather than a weekend in the driveway. Take the car to your favorite speed shop and let your preferred tuner write the file, or contact us for a complete turnkey solution, installed by our technicians and calibrated by the team that has been developing VR30 tunes since the platform launched. Either path puts the same engineering on your car. The calibration is what turns it into 600 wheel horsepower, so plan for it and the ALPHA 6 delivers.

Exhaust specification. Every ALPHA 6 ships with the Fast Intentions cat back in touring trim: 2.5 inch mandrel bent T-304 stainless tubing, 14 inch perforated core resonators inside the X pipe, 5 by 9 inch oval 14 inch touring mufflers and 4.5 inch dual wall polished tips. That combination stays civil at idle and cruise and opens up at wide open throttle, which is what most owners want on a car they drive. Fast Intentions also builds a 10 inch sport muffler they rate 15 to 20 percent louder, and a non resonated X pipe for owners who want more volume. If you want either of those, or a different brand of exhaust entirely, contact us before you order and we will spec the package around it.
Engineered, Not Adapted
Most companies design a part to fit the space. The SnailWorks Engineering Team designs to dominate it. Changing the turbochargers changes every other demand on the car, so the ALPHA 6 was developed as one system rather than a turbo kit with a parts list stapled to it. The fuel system was sized against measured demand at 600 wheel horsepower on e85, not scaled up from the ALPHA 5 and hoping for the best. Full down pipes remove the restriction the smaller turbos could live with. The race heat exchanger was specified for the heat a hybrid turbo actually makes. Every piece was validated together on our own dyno, on the platform we have been calibrating since the VR30 launched. That is the difference between a part that fits and a part that performs.
The ALPHA Path
The ALPHA 6 is the top of the VR30 bolt-on ladder. It keeps the flex fuel system and cat back exhaust from the ALPHA 5, then replaces the three things still holding the car back. The turbochargers, the upper exhaust and the heat exchanger all step up together.
Product Notes
- Installation labor is not included in the listed price, but can be completed by our trained technicians at our facility for an additional fee. Please contact our sales team directly for details and scheduling.
- Calibration required to reach advertised power, sold separately.
- E85 required to reach advertised power. The flex fuel system runs any blend, pump gas included, at reduced output.
- Cat back exhausts are hand built to order by Fast Intentions. We typically see a 2 to 3 week lead time, though Fast Intentions states it can run as long as 6 to 8 weeks. Quicker exhaust options may be available by special order. Contact our sales team before ordering if lead time matters to you.
- Turbocharger installation requires removal of the engine from the chassis. Plan labor and downtime accordingly.
- Turbo cores are returned directly to Pure Turbos, not to AMS. Pure Turbos requires all cores within 60 days of purchase for a full refund and makes deductions on cores received after that.
- A core return sheet from Pure Turbos must be included with every inbound core shipment. Remove all oil lines, water lines, brackets, bypass valves, sensors and other accessories before shipping, except the wastegate flapper door assemblies.
- Core refunds are authorized at the sole discretion of Pure Turbos after an inspection period of roughly two weeks. Bent, broken, damaged or seized components, or a missing or damaged wastegate, may reduce or void the refund.

- Horsepower and torque numbers, quarter mile times, 0-60 mph, 60-130 mph and other recorded times are approximate and can vary significantly depending on numerous factors such as your dynamometer model, ambient temperature, elevation, tire selection, road surface material, fuel octane and quality, and vehicle weight, among many others. The advertised numbers herein are based on optimal conditions and utilizing proper supporting modifications, but are generally attainable results by an average customer. Your results may vary.
