The AMS Performance BMW S55 Charge Pipes for F80 M3, F82 & F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition provide maximum airflow for maximum horsepower and torque. By increasing the size of the charge pipes on the S55 engine by up to 72%, we allow for more airflow resulting in the greatest increase in HP and torque. Designed as a complete package including both upper Charge Pipes and lower J-Pipe, each pipe is powder coated in wrinkle black for good looks and durability and features a screen printed ALPHA logo. With CNC machined billet compressor outlet flanges, 6061 T6 aluminum tubing, and an integrated 1/8″ NPT port for methanol injection or nitrous, the AMS Performance BMW M3/M4/M2C S55 Charge Pipes are the perfect replacement for the failure-prone OEM plastic piping.
Our Snailworks© Engineering Team set out to make the AMS Performance BMW S55 Charge Pipes upgrade not only the most effective on the market but also the easiest to install. Our team has spent countless R&D hours painstakingly designing the piping upgrade via Solidworks© Computer Aided Design (CAD) software as well as conducted rigorous on-track testing. It fits just like stock without any cutting or drilling. With a 72% increase in cross sectional area at the largest restriction in the OEM tube, the AMS S55 Charge Pipes are a serious upgrade over stock.
Focusing on component design and materials selection is crucial during product development, and is why we have utilized top tier materials as the foundation of the AMS Performance BMW S55 Charge Pipes. The flanges are manufactured from billet 6061 T6 aluminum, which is then precision CNC machined for a perfect fit — every time. Because we are using billet flanges, our team was able to integrate OEM-style fitment features which allow the piping to lock into place, just like BMW intended. They also allow our team to design smoothly radiused transitions from flange to pipe to allow an unrestricted path for air entering the engine.
